A portion of local search engine optimization efforts goes to claiming and optimizing business listings for companies trying to attract local clientele. Bing Business Center requires postcard verification for many business. This usually entails the business owner asking Bing to send a postcard with verification code to the business physical address. Once the postcard arrives, the business owner can complete the verification process by going online and entering the code from the postcard.

So what’s the big deal? Well, we’ve done hundreds of these for local businesses and the big deal is that Bing sends out a postcard which looks like an advertisement. When our clients get the postcard, they through it away because they think it is an ad. So, we’d like to show what this card looks like to avoid this as much as possible.
